Winnipeg River Walk Annual Spring Flood   Leave a comment

The River Walk along the Assiniboine River is under icy water as is per usual this time of year.  It isn’t that bad, barring an April blizzard they should be walkable within a week or so.

On the south side of the Midtown Bridge I came across what looked like an encampment, and or hoarders stash. Quite strange.

Here is a building with a name bigger than its structure.

Three stories and it calls itself “Towers”! Building with attitude.

New Heritage Landing condos have huge balconies on the river side.  Must be 12 feet long by 15 feet wide. Could have a hell of a barbecue party out there.

The Metropolitan Theatre. For many years it was empty, but then some entrepreneurs bought it and converted it into a super club that shows Jets games on a movie theatre size screen.
