When Donald Trump has finished an exhausting debate and chaotic campaign schedule he can go to his penthouse in his Trump Towers in New York City, or, he can fly down on his 757 jet to his modest abode in Palm Beach, Florida.

Mar-a-Lago is a landmark estate in Palm Beach, Florida. Built from 1924 to 1927 by Marjorie Merriweather Post, the estate is currently owned by The Trump Organization, LLC.

The 126-room, 110,000-square-foot (10,219 m²) house is also the headquarters of the Mar-a-Lago Club.

Donald Trump paid $10 million for the estate in 1985. After acquiring the property, Trump had the property renovated, with 58 bedrooms, 33 bathrooms, a 29-foot (8.8 m)-long pietra dura marble top dining table, 12 fireplaces, and three bomb shelters. The home also has five clay and one grass tennis court with a waterfront pool. Further additions have been made since then, including a 20,000-square-foot (1,900 m2) ballroom.

Bargain hunters looking to join what is arguably one of the country’s most exclusive clubs are in for a pleasant surprise – Donald Trump’s swanky Mar-a-Lago club is slashing the initiation fee by half.

Now, society-craving jetsetters are said to be bypassing the hefty $200,000 initiation fee, instead only paying $100,000 for membership privileges.

The 62,000 square-foot club, which was built in the 1920s by Post cereal heiress Marjorie Merriwether Post, is incredibly opulent and seated on a premiere piece of land in Palm Beach, Florida.

In the meantime candidate Trump released a photo of his Great Wall of the Mexico Border prototype.  The wall has been constructed in a canyon on the Mexican border with Texas. The wall is 90 feet high, it’s 20 feet thick and is made of reinforced rebar concrete and heavy supreme dynamex steel.

The press release included with the photo quotes Donald Trump as saying:  “if a Pedro donkey jockey can find a way over that wall I’ll eat my iPhone. There is no way that a Peppi Gonzalez will ever get a ladder that high or build a cannon that can blast an illegal Grease-Back safely over the ‘Trump Great Wall’.”
