It took twelve years but the Blue Bombers finally broke the Labour Day Classic curse. They pulled out a 28-25 win over the pathetic Riders. The Riders are terrible and pitiful this year. They now stand at 1 win and 8 losses. The Bombers move up to 6 and 4 riding a 5 game winning streak. The two teams meet for a rematch next week back in Winnipeg.

Pre-game mascot hijinks. Gainer the Gopher, left, Riders mascot doing his slow-motion walk. While on the right, Blue Bombers mascot Buzz showing who is more agile, doing some head over heels flips. What a Buzz!

Some Saskatchewan stubble-jumper took time off combining wheat to put on his green bozo wig and get the wife to paint him up real good.
