The first update isn’t actually new construction, it’s the re-cladding of the Artis Tower at Portage and Main. From a dull green to a inspiring blue.

Then there is the big True North Square project. A big hole with beehive-like activity. This is a big project. Three towers over 250 feet each.

The white building in the distance is the new University of Winnipeg student residences. There aren’t many white buildings around, I like the colour.

The Glass House Skylofts is completed and tenants are moving in. The ALT Hotel to the right has been open for a little over a year.

The new building that used to be called Heritage Landing, re-branded as 300 Assiniboine is getting ready for tenants. The building is 24 stories.

The building has striking flood lights on the 4 corners of the building top and bottom.

Two new buildings are proposed for downtown. They would be the tallest in the city. 300 Main will be a go, however, Skycity Centre is not a 100% sure thing just yet.
